Fall Event SeriesGRAPHIC DESIGN, BRANDING
A set of posters designed for UCLA AUD’s Event Series, featuring 15 unique “buildings” inspired by the most notable projects by each lecturer.
Built in Rhino 3D, the forms were developed through plan-view sketches, 3D modeled, and refined as a 2D output in Illustrator. 2x first place prize in Archinect Awards.
Featured as Archinect’s 1st place winner two times for the “Get Lectured” Poster Series.

THE POSTER
PROCESS
Drawing from each architect’s most iconic projects, key visual motifs were extracted and integrated them into three-dimensional numerals representing the event dates.
Prioritizing recognizability, cohesion, and readability, I developed a system where architectural elements were abstracted yet still evocative of their source material. The result is a dynamic and visually engaging series that balances playfulness with clarity, reinforcing UCLA AUD’s design language.
SKETCHES + IDEATION
Using Rhino3D and Adobe Illustrator, sketches were created in plan over a plain numeral to maintain visual consistency. Multiple iterations were tested before landing on the final design.
